New profile of the Programmers (GDD)

Nerds have to think that's all. Did you remember the time that you had
to think what is the best solution to order a list of String or the
time that you had to choose the best algorithm of Search ? I know it
was the best time you had. Nowadays you have to don't have to think.
Let me explain. That time you did everything and know you don't need
to improve anything. They from darkness, let me call them X.
The X now ask you many things that they can't do for some reason, the
problem isn't the reason, but what they ask you. So here is a
situation, X give you a problem and ask a plenty of questions like:
When do you think you would finish, remember that we don't have too
much time. Then you answer, thinking in the weekend that you consider
to resolve your nerd problems, you answer that you would finish in
three days. Then X appreciating the estimate time said that it was OK
considering it can not be longer than Monday. How a nerd have to work
from Friday to Monday three days? You conclude that you would work
Saturday and Sunday. Then X would be great with you conclusion and ask
you to divide the work and let him know about the problems that you
find and have to give at least tow solution, and of course solve them.
Finally, your nerd profile now is to estimate, work more than
expected, find two ways to resolve problems, let everyone now what you
are doing in each five minutes, manage the team, divide the work, fix
the Use Case, Data Base and Architecture, manage the cost of the
Project, schedule meetings with the X and Sponsors, sweep the dust of
your computer, change the memory, do your own coffee, read the news,
describe everything you do, and so on. Ops, not forget the main that
is to put all the components that you did to work and test them, write
a Use Test with the results and be responsible of the code you did
till your death, I mean fix the problems that would happen even with
you are in other Company.
The better is on the end the payment that don't deserve any comment.
And don't forget that you are going to work on your vacation. Better
time that nerd just have to sweep bits, isn't ?
